We thought that a private page, just for you, would give you a little idea of who we are, how we work and what we do with NDW.
We completely understand your apprehension at the thought of leaving your child with us, even though you are really close by.
We have provided care at two events so far with another two booked for 2023.
Our first event was in July 2022 at The Last Drop Inn, Bolton.
We have a great self-contained conference centre all to ourselves so super safe and secure.
We have three spaces inside, one set up for crafts and perhaps a movie if needed later on, another is for older children, so we had a football table, giant connect 4, table tennis and lots more games including this year a snooker table and the largest room was for the younger ones so soft play, baby and toddler toys etc.
There is a large entrance hall where each family has a basket for their personal items and a big table for all of our crafts, cupcakes and biscuits we decorate.
We also have a kitchen with a fridge, loos and we create a specific baby change station in a little room.
We have a great outside space up on the hill where the hotel creates this specially for us!
When you arrive, you will be directed to a couple of check-in stations. Here the Team will go through your paperwork, add any further information, answer any questions, and tag all the children’s’ belongings. And for added peace of mind the Director and a member of the team with medial experience will be on hand.
You will then head over to the conference for tea and coffee, and we will see you back at lunchtime when you come to collect the children. Should we need you we will call the conference room or come and get you.
After lunch you check your child back in and head back into the conference for the rest of the afternoon. We will see you back at our conference rooms at the end.
A week or so before the event we will email you all, providing you with further information, timings, what to bring, and what not to worry about.
It is a wonderful weekend, a time for you to learn from the professionals, to talk to other parents and to spend time together as a family, alongside this there are some great facilities at LDI.
